COMPARISON OF THE MATERIAL AND DOMESTIC RIGHTS OF CONVICTS ON THE EXAMPLE OF SPAIN AND RUSSIA
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The purpose of the study is to clarify the directions of development of domestic penal legislation in the field of material and household support. The task is to compare legal norms on living conditions, provision of clothing, bedding, personal hygiene items, food, and shopping opportunities. The author comes to the conclusion that despite the similar needs of convicts associated with the need for daily living in isolation, the regulatory documents of Spain and Russia guarantee unequal rights to material and household provision in terms of their list, nature and scope. The author considers an increase in standards for the provision of personal hygiene items and an expansion of the menu range in the direction of the need to take into account the religious diet to be promising areas for the development of Russian legislation.
