Abstract:
The article analyzes the experience of regional institutions of the penal system of our country in organizing festive events both on the eve and on the day of Easter. It is noted that traditional (worship services, broadcasting of Easter broadcasts by cable television studios of institutions, a procession with bells, meetings of convicts, where clergymen tell about the history of the holiday, its traditions and customs, eggs are painted, cakes are baked) and innovative (master classes and contests for the best Easter craft, drawing or postcard, bell-ringing contests among convicts, spiritual and moral quizzes, fair-sale of Easter products, readers' conferences, the screening of documentaries etc.) forms of this holiday are used. It is concluded that spiritual and moral events held on the eve and on the day of Easter have a beneficial effect on the process of resocialization of convicts, contribute to the formation of positive thinking and positive life values in them. It is noted that faith can become a support for those who seek to improve and return to a full life. Easter, as one of the most significant Christian holidays, carries a message of love, forgiveness and the opportunity to start a new, law-abiding life.
