This article analyzes the basic concepts (probation and resocialization) used for the social recovery of persons who have served criminal sentences; resocialization is considered as an element of a single individual program in the probation mechanism, as well as an independent technology reflecting the specified direction of rehabilitation activities; the final part of the article reflects the work done in the country for execution the Law on probation and the tasks facing the subjects of re-socialization, social adaptation and social recovery of persons who have served criminal sentences.
