The article discusses the issue of providing psychological assistance to teachers in overcoming professional burnout syndrome. Special attention is paid to the socio-psychological features of pedagogical activity and their influence on the formation of the syndrome among teaching staff. The results of an empirical study on the severity of symptoms of professional burnout among teachers are presented. Based on the results of the psychodiagnostic examination, the features of the approbation of a psychological correctional program aimed at stabilizing the emotional state of teachers, increasing their professional activity and the level of pedagogical reflection are revealed. A set of targeted preventive measures is proposed to prevent professional burnout syndrome, which will help to preserve the mental and physical health of teachers and increase the effectiveness of their professional activities.
