The article formulates the concept of transformation of value orientations. The hypothesis of the study was that the transformation of the value orientations of convicts during the period of penitentiary probation leads to their correction. The transformation of the value orientations of the infected convicts is carried out as a result of the organized work of the staff implementing penitentiary probation.
