Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents the history of the beginning of the formation of the penitentiary-psychological direction of research on the personality characteristics of female juvenile convicts within the framework of the Ryazan penitentiary psychological and pedagogical scientific school. It is proved that, historically, this line of research was proposed by V. G. Deev back in the 70s of the XX century, when he was just starting his work in the laboratory for the study of the problems of re-education of convicts in the Ryazan Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. Opened in 1972 by order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, the educational and labor colony at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ryazan Executive Committee, in which female minors were sentenced, thanks to the foresight of V. G. Deev's scientific thought, for many years became a research platform for the psychological and pedagogical study of the personality and environment of this category of convicts. The professional life of researchers of psychological and pedagogical personality traits of female juvenile convicts is associated with work in different years at the Department of general and pedagogical psychology of the Academy of the FPS of Russia, which allows the department to be considered historically an informal center for penitentiary psychological and pedagogical research of personality and environment of female juvenile convicts.
