The article presents an analysis of the value-semantic sphere of cadets of educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN of Russia). The author draws attention to the relevance of studying the gender and age characteristics of the value-semantic sphere of cadets in connection with the need for a detailed analysis of socio-psychological factors influencing the formation of value orientations and semantic attitudes among future officers of the penal correction system. The article considers the features of the value-semantic sphere of cadets, presented in the scientific works of modern scientists. Significant gender and age differences in the characteristics of the value-semantic sphere of the cadets are given. In conclusion, it is concluded that work with the value-semantic sphere of cadets should be planned based on the individual characteristics of cadets, taking into account age and gender.
